I’m sure your timelines are FULL of Favourites, whether thats on Bloglovin or YouTube but personally they’re some of my favourites and give me loads of inspiration of new products to buy.
So I thought I’d give it a go and give you a quick rundown of some of my favourite things this month. I don’t have a lot but I have a very special one at the end!
The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil – I have really sensitive skin so I am always weary of using new products but as this is from the Body Shop I knew it wouldn’t irritate my skin. This oil just removes my make up with ease without leaving any film on my skin. I just massage about 2 pumps of this into my skin and over my eyes and within 2 minutes its off – even waterproof mascara! It doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry which is definitely a must for my cleansers. It also smells lovely, the camomile is subtle but is lovely and calming for my nighttime routine. However, the packaging is a bit annoying as it can leak, leaving oil sitting on my make up table! So I might try the cleansing balm version of this next time!
Barry M Quick Dry Nail Polish in Kiss Me Quick – You might have seen this in my Haul, I got it free with a goody bag from River Island and it has been the only thing on my nails this month. This bright baby pink gets me so excited for summer! They really are a quick dry which is great and yet the formula hasn’t been compromised. They are so easy to apply due to the control flow brush and I recommend using at least 2 coat.
Philip Kingsley Daily Damage Defence Conditioning Spray – So I got this in a glossybox one month and didn’t really look at it, but when I ran out of my usual heat defence spray I panicked and picked this up to protect my hair that day – i’m so glad I did! This conditioning spray makes my hair feel so soft and healthier. I use this mist on my roots through to the ends of my hair and never feel like it weighs my hair down or leaves it clinging to my roots. I feel like it makes my hair much easier to manage and it always helps to protect my hair not only for heated style tools but UV Rays as well. Plus it has a lovely scent that subtly lingers in my hair.
GHD Wonderland Straightener – So I think these are just the limited edition range of the usual Gold V Series. I have had these straighteners for about 2 years and love them for smoothing and straightening my unruly curly hair. GHD are the only straighteners that I’ve found that can actually straighten my hair! So although there is a lot of love for this product anyway, this month I feel like I can finally say, I may have acquired the skill of GHD Curls. This new skill has been a lifesaver this month when I’ve needed to look like i’ve put effort in with not a lot of time! I find its quicker to curl my hair than to straighten but the effect is much prettier on my hair. I definitely wouldn’t be any good trying to describe how to do this in this blog post but this video really helped me (but practice makes perfect!).
James Bay, Chaos and Calm – Ok, so I know this album was only released at the end of this month but ever since it has been the only thing I have listened to! I’m a huge fan of his style of music and some of my favourites from the album are; Collide, If You Ever Want To Be In Love and of course, Hold Back The River.
Once Upon A Time TV Series – So I have always seen OUAT on my tumblr feed and have never known much about it or where to watch it in the UK. Then I saw it on my Netflix and decided to give it a go. OH I LOVE IT. As I Disney obsessive, I love the retold classics and the light fantasy mixed with real life and modern aspects. It is a similar idea to Grimm (which I also love) as it is set in modern day but the fantasy elements cause trouble with the characters lives. I am only on S1 of this though so please no spoilers haha! It really is charming.
My Most Favourite Favourite?
Meet my baby Brother – Charlie Lucas! This little cutie arrived on the 25th March and I’m obsessed!
So what have all of you being loving this month? I’m always looking for new blogs, so feel free to leave yours below!
